About Sabrina Lauriston

My story begins in Italy where I was born and later studied painting and photography at the Institute of Art in Sienna. When I moved to Australia in 2007, a new chapter began for me as I started a family and struggled with learning a new language and culture all at once. Art, which had always been a major part of my life, called out to me as both a creative outlet and a source of comfort.

I left behind my film camera and started using my first DSLR camera and did a traineeship with a professional photographer. Slowly I acquired more expertise and eventually began freelancing. I currently specialise in portraiture of any kind, from simple headshots to full wedding parties and have all the equipment necessary for commercial jobs from corporate events to real estate.

My clients and collaborators include multiple private companies, Bundaberg Council, Creative Region, Hervey Bay Neighbourhood Centre and the Bundaberg Community Development Office. I continue to showcase my art with solo exhibitions of my work regionally.
